LAS VEGAS—New research has pointed to the viability of battery-free spinal cord stimulation (SCS) systems for patients with leg and/or back pain.
The study found that use of the novel system resulted in marked improvements in several clinically relevant end points three months after activation, including pain levels and patient-reported functional outcomes, which combined to improve quality of life in study participants.
